I have been a loyal Boden customer for two decades. I used to be 100% pleased. I don't like the styling as much anymore. The line used to be classic British styling and just over the top amazing quality. If you bough children's undies they looked like you took them out of the package a day ago even though they had been laundered a million times. In fact I gave all of my child's to a friend and they held up for her child and then her sisters.

The coats, jeans, shoes, purses, hats you name it amazing. The styling never went out of style the skirst and dresses I bought 13 years ago are still just as stylish. Everything we bough brought compliment and queries as to where we purchased it.

The past few years i have bought very few things as i just don't like the shirts any more. The jeans that had been super soft heavenly high cotton content are annoying lycra and other things, so no different from other upper line US manufacturers.

I will say this their customer satisfaction guarantees are great. In all the hundreds of items I have bough from them, I only had a problem with one item. I had purchases it the previous season so could not return it when when finally got around to wearing it, washed it once and it unraveled so I wrote. They were immediately were one it, as I think they could see I was telling the truth from the pictures I sent them that this was worn once and a pocket seam went. They stood by the product and apologized profusely. It bough my forever loyalty. So when i can i try to shop with them before I do other vendors.

I just wish they would bring back the 100% cotton jeans that are like $$$$$ jeans from Japan or very high end exclusive boutique brand that specialize in replicating 50's-80's old fashion jeans without any elastic added. Why would you get rid of something from your line that no one else in the world offered. I used to buy 18 pairs of jeans from them a year for our family. Luckily I have a stock pile.

I miss the a-line dresses and shirts and the better styles raincoats, the military coats, the comfortable less fussy bathing suits, and the stuffer shirts and roomier sweatshirts, and fluffy parkers. The kid collection is still beautifully styles, but the teen and adult clothing is just starting to look like what you can find everywhere. Their clothing and patters were unique. People would walk up to me on the street and in restrooms at court and ask, " Can I ask you were you bought the suit, or your daughter's coat?"

I went to buy my daughter a rain coat this year and they wee all ugly. The majority of the clothing never would have gone out of style, they could have just changed patterns. It's like the fits have been changed too and are just too tight and close slim fit.

So although I am buying less they are still the first company i got to at the beginning of the season. My 4 star review rather than 5 is only based on the cheapening of the styling and the fact that it is less unique.

My grandchildren, a girl of 9 and a boy 6 years old, are not, usually, very excitable. But when they open a package from Boden, they scream! Then they call me with words tumbling over each other to tell me how much they loved the clothes.
The main take away from my granddaughter is that she feels like a princess. My grandson loves the pants and shirts with animals, especially the ones that feel furry. Glow in the dark pajamas are also a big hit.
I love the whimsical quality that seems to come in every design, and the fact that the clothes are well made and stand up to wear.
Boden's customer service is always personable and helpful. Here are some examples: They took back an item that was marked "final sale, no returns." Once, they sent something I hadn't ordered. It was very cute, and I wanted to keep it. When I ordered something for my granddaughter (I always keep things even), they sent it without charging for shipping.
I really couldn't be more pleased with Boden. One last thing though. They have great sales!

Worst website ever. Trying to buy a gift and it won't allow me to change the size...ridiculous!

When I majored in advertising back in 1980, the US service model was Nordstrom, as it should have been. Nordstrom, in the states, is still beyond reproach. But today, Boden eclipsed that model for me - and a woman named Dee led the charge. My default delivery address sent 2 pairs of shoes to an outdated address. I called service and they did this: one pair was out of stock, so they refunded me and promised to contact me, should the person receiving the shoes actually return them. They canceled the order and sent the other pair to the correct address - at no additional cost to me. Dee was patient, warm and very well on top of things. Boden has long had my heart - now they have it forever.

Wonderful clothing that lasts, I still have pieces from 2008 I wear, wonderful fashion, but not trendy. If you love color and quality, they're for you. Shoes are exquisite!!
Very good customer service, returns unproblematic!

Beautiful high quality original clothes, well made and come from England. Sometimes the wait is a little longer but over the years items have have arrived sooner. Customer service so far has always been good. Once when I returned an item and called to ask about the length of time it was taking for refund, I was processed a refund then and there! I like everything about them and have been dealing with them many years.

Beautiful clothes but very poor quality. After few washes it looks like its been worn for years. Boden also discriminates children. When you upload your childs photo wearing there Boden outfits they pick and choose which pick they like. How discasting of them to do that. All children should be there after all they are advertising you poor quality, over priced made in China clothes.

Although I like their product, I had a very frustrating experience with my order. It was very hard to apply the discount voucher to my order. On the site, I could see that the voucher was applied to the order, but the price in the cart didn't change. The online representative said I will be billed the amount shown under the applied button (the discounted price). However, I was billed the original amount. I had to go back to online chat, explain the situation, and let them apply the voucher. The representative said that it will take 7-10 days for the transaction to be seen on my credit card.

Horrible return policy. I returned a dress. It left my post office on Long Island on June 7. It went to NJ on June 9, its still in transit to PA on June 28. I am curious if a person on a donkey is actually carrying my dress to PA. This is unacceptable. I will NEVER order from them again, just for their lousy return policy.
